History’s Best Reincarnation Chapter 5: Male God YangGuo

Apologies for the break, I probably should not have restarted translating while being bogged down by work.

Chapter 5: Male God YangGuo

The great hero YangGuo debuts with a giant bang resounding through the sky.

JiangChen’s heart is trembling with anticipation, and GuoXiang is also overjoyed, thinking:”the Conder Hero has arrived!” Looking up, a person is sitting on top of a branch,  while beside him is a huge and ugly condor. Continue reading

Update Schedule and other thoughts

So I have gotten some advice on how to effectively run a translation site, and having an update schedule is probably going to help me out the most in translating long term. I am not entirely set in stone on the amount of chapters I want to do a week considering there will be days where I am just swamped with work, therefore unable to do anything else. My plan at the moment is to update once every two days, so I have time to build up a backlog. I have been working without one before, fast updates for sure, but the work is sloppy and puts me under a lot of pressure to keep the pace up, which I assume led to my burning out(Shh the excuse sounds legit enough).

As for this series that I am currently doing, to be perfectly honest I have only read about seventeen chapters (started reading ahead after I posted chapter 3), as to how the story is progressing and how much I enjoy it. It’s keeping me entertained, I’ll give it that. Lot of meta story telling, kind of similar to History’s Number 1 Founder (One of my favorites), and the main character seems to be transported into a bunch of different worlds later on, some of which I can see from the chapter titles including zombies, so a left for dead world or something similar I assume, which makes the whole concept pretty fun. As to whether it turns to shit remains to be seen.

If anybody has any requests on what I should translate instead, Chinese only of course (Well Jap->Chinese->Eng also works but it will be pretty wonky), or as a second project (will definitely slow down the release of the current one) feel free to leave a comment (General translating etiquette applies)

  1. Adding a schedule. One chapter every two days at least (not set in stone)
  2. Current project is interesting as of chapter 17, it being great or shit remains to be seen.
  3. If anybody has translation requests leave them in the comments (Chinese only)

History’s Best Reincarnation Chapter 3: GuoXiang Takes Me Riding

Chapter 3 : GuoXiang Takes Me Riding

Within the falling snow, big-headed ghost advances forward quickly while clutching on to JiangChen and GuoXiang’s wrists, because his light-weight skill is quite unique, it is very similar to a frog leaping forward, despite his body being short, after each leap he advances very far. Continue reading

History’s Best Reincarnation Chapter 2: Game Start

I have not read ahead on this series, so no guarantees that it will be spectacular. But from what I’m reading right now it’s quite interesting.

Chapter 2: Game Start

 “The game……has started.”

After Waking up JiangChen calmly observes his surroundings, only to find that he is inside an ancient inn, and the weather is extremely cold, there are also a bunch of guests that are huddling around a bonfire, because for some reason they are trapped in here for the time being, and there is also one person curled up sleeping in a corner.

History’s Best Reincarnation Chapter 1: Reincarnation Start

Chapter 1: Reincarnation Start

Entrance of FengLingDu Bridge*(1)

The time is early February, recently the atmosphere has been at times cold and at times warm, the Yellow River*(2) has defrosted, however when the Northern winds blow it begins to snow, and the river has once again frozen over. Neither boats or carts can cross the river, and all the passengers who need to cross the river are stuck at the Entrance of FengLingDu Bridge, unable to leave.

The passengers from the North are unending and the FengLingDu crossing has only few inns, they have all been filled up within half a day, leaving the customers who come after with no place to stay. Continue reading

Where I have been and restarting.

Hi guys. I’m sure many of you have already forgotten about me. Just an amateur translator who wanted to share some shield-bro with the world before disappearing for two years without a notice. Dick move, I know. Sorry about that by the way. I just got bored of the story and decided to drop it, not to mention that my knowledge of Japanese was absolutely horrible, many of the translations were wrong and simply misleading.

So here is what I have been doing during my *cough* Vacation *cough*. Mostly playing WoW and League,Runescape (Quit that last year),and lots of reading……Boy did I read a lot, but we’ll get to that later. I actually tried learn Japanese to do some actual not shit machine translations. Bold goal, I know. But it turns out I’m completely retarded at the language because what happened was I spent a month learning it seriously only to find that all Kanji I see is automatically translated into Chinese for me. (I’m Chinese-Canadian and grew up listening to my parents and grandparents speak Chinese). So since I couldn’t actually get any learning of the Japanese language done, I gave up and started reading English translations of Chinese novels, and boy do those suck your life away. Days would go by without noticing and the only feeling left would be a thirst for more reading. First English translation of a Chinese novel I read was ‘A Step Into the Past’, one of the best books I’ve read to this day. Anyway, what happened was the more English translations of Chinese novels I would read the more I actually wanted to read those books. So I ended up actually learning my Chinese again, since updates were pretty slow, translating takes time I know……

So with that out of the way I have decided to start translating Chinese novels into English, and this time most of it is actually correct, since I actually know what I’m doing, a miracle I know. The first series I have decided to start translations on is  ‘史上最牛轮回’ ‘History’s Best Reincarnation’ I’ll be posting Chapter 1 after. This time I’ll keep you guys updated and actually announce if I’ll take a break and if I choose to do so.

I do also work now and that was a factor in stopping my translations. Only about 20% of it though.

1.I’ve been a lazy sack of shit.

2. Retarded at Japanese, therefore learnt Chinese instead.

3. Decided to translate Chinese novels into English instead of shit Japanese translations where even I have no idea what is happening sometimes. Since I am actually proficient in Chinese, well I can at least read and understand most of what’s going on without help.

Tate No Yuusha ch 127

Chapter 127 by Anontranslator!

Laptop returned from fixing. I might even appear again within a year. Also decided to start including honorifics at times.

I remember this feeling.
I open my eyes and check the surroundings.
Looks like I was put to sleep in the healing house’s bed.
When I look I see Firo is sleeping while leaning on me, and Raphtalia fell asleep while sitting in a chair.
This is still fine, but for some reason even Melty is sleeping with Firo.
Again huh. When I use Blutopfer it always ends up like this.

「Ah, you regained consciousness!」

Rishia just came into my sick room carrying a water bottle.
Unusually she’s not wearing the costume.
Thinking about it Rishia looked like this didn’t she.
She’s always wearing the Firo costume so I forgot.

「Raphtalia-san, please wake up. The hero of the shield regained consciousness」

With a sway Rishia shakes Raphtalia.

Chapter 126: Versus the Spirit Turtle, the Final Battle

Chapter 126 by Yoraikun!

Been quite busy, and end of the month is coming up. Might not be able to do a chapter this weekend. I’ll be using my spare time to read through the book on Japanese grammar that arrived.

Inlitify OA

This is the final battle the arc deserved, but not the one that many people want to read. None too dramatic. As for why he didn’t increase the trap size or go for the heart instead, it is my theory that if he increased the Trap size, he would die before the attack could take effect, and Neither Rafatalia or Firo can completely destroy the head in the time it takes for the heart to regenerate. Oh Well. The Turtle gives off a Sort of Fate from Negima vibe in his intentions.

Chapter 126: Versus the Spirit Turtle, the Final Battle

… I guess I can’t waste any more time.

Now that I think about it, we spent way too much of it inside of the turtle.

It seems that due to our nervousness, we hadn’t noticed just how much time had passed.

If I don’t leave to help out…

The Rise of the Shield Hero Chapter 125

Chapter 125 by Yoraikun!

Inlitify OA

A bit anti-climactic. Stay tuned for the touching finale.

Chapter 125: Possibilities

“Not Yet! Report your situation!” (Naofumi)

“The people who received the attack have yet to recover. We are confirming the situation.” (Soldier)

How is the front line holding up?

I look towards Rafatalia and Firo, who are currently battling around the heart.

The assaulting familiars seem to be endless. Both of them are exhausted.

When the chance comes, they break through and reach my location, but their faces are pale.

“A-are you two alright?!” (Naofumi)

“Y-yes… but… my Mana is…” (Rafatalia)

“Yeah… you know… they absorbed our mana…” (Firo)

Ku… how troublesome. This attack has the same effect as the electric blast from the head.

I receive an information report from the back line.

“A large number of troops have died from Mana depletion.” (Soldier)

“How is the situation on the front?” (Naofumi)

“Because of the Hero of…
