 Following the threats, both sides start fighting, ShiMengJie flicks his wrist, immediately a pair of sharp iron pens are shot towards big-headed ghost.

 At the same time, ShiZhongMeng with a silver pointed steel pen, fight life pursuing ghost with his scimitar, and funeral door ghost with his chain spear, in a one vs two. God of strength ShiLiQiang is fighting the old woman, who also known as the hanging ghost and fights with a long rope. ShiLiQiang’s strength is ridiculous, but the rope of hanging ghost makes it so that he can’t effectively utilise it, all he can do is roar non-stop, ShiBoWei wants to go and help, but he is held down by two other ghosts.

Update Schedule and other thoughts

So I have gotten some advice on how to effectively run a translation site, and having an update schedule is probably going to help me out the most in translating long term. I am not entirely set in stone on the amount of chapters I want to do a week considering there will be days where I am just swamped with work, therefore unable to do anything else. My plan at the moment is to update once every two days, so I have time to build up a backlog. I have been working without one before, fast updates for sure, but the work is sloppy and puts me under a lot of pressure to keep the pace up, which I assume led to my burning out(Shh the excuse sounds legit enough).

As for this series that I am currently doing, to be perfectly honest I have only read about seventeen chapters (started reading ahead after I posted chapter 3), as to how the story is progressing and how much I enjoy it. It’s keeping me entertained, I’ll give it that. Lot of meta story telling, kind of similar to History’s Number 1 Founder (One of my favorites), and the main character seems to be transported into a bunch of different worlds later on, some of which I can see from the chapter titles including zombies, so a left for dead world or something similar I assume, which makes the whole concept pretty fun. As to whether it turns to shit remains to be seen.

If anybody has any requests on what I should translate instead, Chinese only of course (Well Jap->Chinese->Eng also works but it will be pretty wonky), or as a second project (will definitely slow down the release of the current one) feel free to leave a comment (General translating etiquette applies)

 

TLDR

1. Adding a schedule. One chapter every two days at least (not set in stone)
2. Current project is interesting as of chapter 17, it being great or shit remains to be seen.

 The time is early February, recently the atmosphere has been at times cold and at times warm, the Yellow River*(2) has defrosted, however when the Northern winds blow it begins to snow, and the river has once again frozen over. Neither boats or carts can cross the river, and all the passengers who need to cross the river are stuck at the Entrance of FengLingDu Bridge, unable to leave.

 The passengers from the North are unending and the FengLingDu crossing has only few inns, they have all been filled up within half a day, leaving the customers who come after with no place to stay.

Where I have been and restarting.

Hi guys. I’m sure many of you have already forgotten about me. Just an amateur translator who wanted to share some shield-bro with the world before disappearing for two years without a notice. Dick move, I know. Sorry about that by the way. I just got bored of the story and decided to drop it, not to mention that my knowledge of Japanese was absolutely horrible, many of the translations were wrong and simply misleading.

So here is what I have been doing during my *cough* Vacation *cough*. Mostly playing WoW and League,Runescape (Quit that last year),and lots of reading……Boy did I read a lot, but we’ll get to that later. I actually tried learn Japanese to do some actual not shit machine translations. Bold goal, I know. But it turns out I’m completely retarded at the language because what happened was I spent a month learning it seriously only to find that all Kanji I see is automatically translated into Chinese for me. (I’m Chinese-Canadian and grew up listening to my parents and grandparents speak Chinese). So since I couldn’t actually get any learning of the Japanese language done, I gave up and started reading English translations of Chinese novels, and boy do those suck your life away. Days would go by without noticing and the only feeling left would be a thirst for more reading. First English translation of a Chinese novel I read was ‘A Step Into the Past’, one of the best books I’ve read to this day. Anyway, what happened was the more English translations of Chinese novels I would read the more I actually wanted to read those books. So I ended up actually learning my Chinese again, since updates were pretty slow, translating takes time I know……

So with that out of the way I have decided to start translating Chinese novels into English, and this time most of it is actually correct,since I actually know what I’m doing, a miracle I know. The first series I have decided to start translations on is  ‘史上最牛轮回’ ‘History’s Best Reincarnation’ I’ll be posting Chapter 1 after. This time I’ll keep you guys updated and actually announce if I’ll take a break and if I choose to do so.

I do also work now and that was a factor in stopping my translations. Only about 20% of it though.

TLDR:

1.I’ve been a lazy sack of shit.

2. Retarded at Japanese, therefore learnt Chinese instead.

3. Decided to translate Chinese novels into English instead of shit Japanese translations where even I have no idea what is happening sometimes. Since I am actually proficient in Chinese, well I can at least read and understand most of what’s going on without help.

Rishia just came into my sick room carrying a water bottle.
Unusually she’s not wearing the costume.
Thinking about it Rishia looked like this didn’t she.
She’s always wearing the Firo costume so I forgot.

「Raphtalia-san, please wake up. The hero of the shield regained consciousness」

With a sway Rishia shakes Raphtalia.
